What is in this printable pack?
Both paper sizes contain the same four artworks, selected from Amazing Fighter Planes World War 2 Edition. Choose one format, rather than downloading both for different pictures.
- Page 1: Supermarine Spitfire
- Page 2: Lockheed P-38 Lightning
- Page 3: Hawker Hurricane
- Page 4: Hawker Typhoon

Print the design, not the web page.
- Download the PDF for your paper: A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches).
- Open the PDF in a reader and select the matching paper size. Use Fit to printable area if the preview clips a border; do not stretch the picture.
- Choose single-sided printing. Print one page first to check orientation and margins, then print the remaining pages or just the design you want.
- Use paper and colouring materials your printer supports. Test pens on scrap paper and put a spare sheet behind your artwork to catch ink.
No colour printer is needed for the black-and-white outlines. The web preview is for browsing; the PDF is the printable file.
Give the first page a plan.
Create two green-and-brown swatches on scrap paper: one mostly green and one mostly brown. Choose which balance you prefer. A second sample aircraft can use the other balance without needing any extra pencil colours.
Try a camouflage-inspired palette.
Keep exploring WW2 Fighter Planes.
20 WW2 plane designs in the full paperback. The free four-page pack is a small selection, not a digital edition of the complete book.
